Pure Hope Clothing

Partners

Ashanari, run by Nitin and Deepti, was incorporated into the social project, SAKSHAM - centre for child education & women empowerment in 2018.

Ashanari is a brand working on sustainability and ethical clothing. Coming from an Indian Middle-Class family Deepti and Nitin established Ashanari to empower women in slum areas through ethical clothing.

Their working strategy is very transparent to promote ethical fashion to the most beautiful styles and giving slum women the hope for a better life. We worked with Ashanari in 2019 for our first collection.

We also work with an initiative of Oasis India, was created to support women rescued from trafficking in Mumbai and women from the vulnerable communities in Chennai.

They run an ethical fashion production house that provides fair wages and good working conditions. They aim to provide not just a sustainable income but also to empower women economically to have a greater impact.

Their aim is to make a difference in the lives of these women by empowering them through employment opportunities. As a partner of Oasis India they believe in holistic development of an individual.

Along with making the women self-sustainable through employment opportunities they also aim to give them an environment where they can thrive and be an agent of change in their community. It is only when these women feel empowered and embrace the transformation will they transform the people and the community around them.
